A checkpoint and a launch guess
The poster claimed a first checkpoint for an upcoming Pro model, guessed an October release, and said the name “could be Gemini 4 Pro.” Google has confirmed neither the checkpoint nor the date.

As of September 23, 2026, the public Gemini API catalog does not list Gemini 4 Pro. Follow the official account for updates; use the Google model catalog and model card to confirm availability.
